1. IRS announces 2009 standard mileage rates
Beginning Jan. 1, the standard mileage rates for cars (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be:
-
55 cents per mile for business
-
24 cents per mile for medical or moving purposes
-
14 cents per mile in service of charitable organizations
